Transportation

By Air:

The San Francisco Bay Area is served by
three major airports, situated in San Francisco to the west of the bay, in Oakland to the east, and in San Jose to the south. Most convenient for the MLA Meeting is the Norman Y. Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC), located in the south bay near the city of San Jose. You are strongly encouraged to use SJC, as ground transportation options to the conference hotel in San Jose can be significantly more convenient and economical than from San Francisco (SFO) or Oakland (OAK) airports.
